What we accept
- Original opinion pieces, analysis, and community stories.
- Articles aligned with the values and mission of the 1812 Movement.
- Clear, respectful writing in English (or with an English summary).
- Photos or videos that you own or have permission to share.
What we don't accept
- Misinformation, unverified claims, or defamatory statements.
- Plagiarised content or material that infringes copyright.
- Spam, advertising, or purely promotional posts.
Review criteria
- Relevance to the movement's themes and the South African public.
- Factual accuracy and respectful tone.
- Clarity, structure, and quality of writing.
- Appropriate, on-topic media (where attached).
Review timeline
Most submissions are reviewed within 1–3 days. Approved articles are published on the Blog page and remain live for 7 days unless an admin extends them. We may contact you at the email you provide if changes are needed.
